Hi! I'm a new person on this site and feel it could be very beneficial to share my problems with my latest purchase, my 2001 VW Jetta I bought 1 month ago.

1. Everytime I turn on the car, the trunk opens (?!) What is goin on?

2. The check engine light is on but nothing appears to be wrong. I believe it's the sensors. Anyone know what price I have to pay ($$) to get this problem fixed?

An FYI. Two days after buying the VW, the overheating sensor light came on. I took it back to the dealership and they fixed it.  They refuse to fix my latest whoas.  I am just a 23-year old working girl trying to get buy and enjoy my beautiful Jetta

:-(                           HELP!!!
