I have a 95 Jetta GLS 5spd 2.0L.

I've had a lot of the same small problems other people seem to have. Here's one I'm stuck on though.

Here it is from the beginning:

I had a leak in my power locks. I didn't try to fix it until now, I jut manually locked the doors for a while. Anyways, I was reading in the chilton about power locks and found out it was a leak somewhere. no one here seemed to know anything about airpump locks, so no one could help me. Instead of tearing the door panel off, I decided to just check where the wires run into the door. I activated the lock, and plugged the hole. It just kept running, which means the leak wasn't there. But then I heard a noise from the door behind me. I checked the back, driver's side, door and found out that the tip of the host (that plugs into the other hose) had broken apart and that's where the air was escaping. I plugged it back up, closed the door, locked it, and left. A while later, I was going to drive down to show it to an auto repair place. I unlocked the car, opened the door, and the alarm sounded. I couldn't get it to stop, so I unhooked the neg. on the battery. I figure the alarm goes off because the pump is not "unlocking" and disengaging the alarm. The pump doesn't run at all now and I cannot get the alarm to shut off. What can I do? unhook the horn? Is it the pump now? I check the fuses,  everything was fine. Please help! Thanks!!
