I thought I had purchased a new vw bug with cd equipped. I had paid $325 extra for the monsoon radio system. I had test driven 2 vehicles a few days eariler and thought this one was epuipped with the cd changer. When I got it home, my son pointed out to me that the leather seat was damaged. Also I discovered that there was no cd changer in the trunk. Called, took it back over and they acted like the only dealership around. After checking, they are the only vw dealership within 110 miles. After finding it was going to cost another $600 plus for a changer, I purchased a USA Spec cd changer from Crutchfields. After installing it, the radio wouldn.t recconise the changer. They sent me another changer and it still won't work. I was told that Volkswagen sometimes disables  the unit and has to program the radio to accept the changer. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM? The dealership in Wichita and Topeka Kansas don't want to even talk to me.

Thanks,
Bill
