I purchased a Volkswagen Jetta in July 1998 from Bay Ridge Volkswagen. About a year after I purchased the car the check engine light kept coming on. I took it to service and they did not fix it. This happened 8 times in the last 2 years. The last time it happened under warranty they stated it was fixed and it would never happen again. They told me they would replace the car if it did. 2 months later the light came on again. Now they are attempting to fix the car and seem to not be able to locate the problem. I believe I have a lemon and would like to resolve this issue. I contacted the corporate office twice and they never responded. I am dealing with a customer service person that is not helping either. Right now I am stuck without my car.

Contact an attorney.  For some reason customer service never responds well to the "consumer".  Laws have been put in place to protect the consumer.  If they won't listen to you, they will listen to the law.  Take a stand and protect yourself, NO ONE else will.

Best of luck to you!!!!
