Here's my story.  Ever since I purchased my car the only problem I've had is that the EPC light comes on intermittently.  While my care was under warranty, each time I took it in for service I mentioned what was happened with the EPC light.  The service mgr then told me that since it was intermittent he couldn't diagnose it.  So...I believed him.  Today I failed state inspection because I don't have any brake lights, and was told it was related to the EPC light.

Just what could you tell me about this?

Please let me know,

Regards,
Dixie

I am having the same problem! That's funny. Does anyone know what this issue is? I am able to get my car out of park, only if I tap on the brakes once and the Parking (foot) light goes off. It takes a couple of times to work but I was able to drive it to the mechanic. When I go to the mechanic, I will report the problem. --- (Edited on 8/6/2005 2:00 pm [GMT-0500] by ecko1981) ---

I found the fix...

Replace the brake switch under the peddal, its either purple or green and it should cost 10-15 bucks.. but it fixes the EPC  light. EPC light with sou much trouble is caused by a little switch.. Good Luck folks
