You are great.  I have a 2001 jetta vr6 and so far, cross my fingers
haven't had any problems.. nonetheless.. Your site is great, your story
is well told, keep it going forever.  Your moral stance is honorable...
You could have went for the warranty(of which they would have found a
loophole if you would have needed service in the future, probably would
have blamed you for having the remote starter "improperly" dismantled..
if you got the warranty in the first place. )but instead you decided to
try and help out the next gal/guy that gets screwed. THANK YOU. mine is
certified.. I bought an extended warranty as well  (bought it w/17500
miles)  but those warranties don't cover much at all.  I mainly wanted
to tell you that YES that should be false advertising.  And YES I see
your site for what it is, you are not a complainer as some people who
post are(not on your site, seems all have serious problems)  you are a
very savvy consumer.. Thank you for seeing the "bigger picture"  and
good luck.  I'll prob. get a lexus again next time thanks to sites like
yours and myvwlemon.com  KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. -Chris Hackworth
