VW Bad Transmissions

My transmission started to go at 62k miles. That was 2k past my warrenty. I had it serviced a number of times and was told every time that Volkswagons are known to have bad transmissions. I continued to have it serviced and when considering trading it in, a non-Volkswagon dealer indicted that they do not like to take them because of there transmission problems. When contacting Volkswagon I was told they were unaware of transmission problems. Everyone else seemed to know except for Volkswagon themselves From EComplaints
