Has anyone else had problems with the newish "folding key" VW key fobs breaking so that they won't stay on a key chain? When my wife and I first saw the fobs we thought they were so qute and very stylish. Now, BOTH of our VW keys have broken so that they will no longer stay put on the key chain. We have had the car for less than a year and we are not happy about having to pay $80-$100 EACH to replace keys that broke through normal usage.

HAve a 99 and the key fobs are not breaking. However, moisture seems to be a problem. The circuit board inside seems to corrode.
