Just to keep it simple, After being a dedicated VW customer for over 18 years, I ended up with a lemon(1st time, but not the last for many as I have found out) This car had a series of maladies ranging from creaking door panels, bad speedometer, shaky engine idle and rattly dashboard. After numerous tries at the dealer who said they just could not fix the thing to EXTREMELY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM VW OF AMERICA..THEY (A MANAGER NAMED 'SALLY' HUNG UP ON ME)TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE THEY WOULD DO....Basically S.O.L!!! I have found out from a website called www.bitchaboutit.com that i am nowhere near alone on the sub-par quality of VW products and the 'We dont Care' attitude of VW Customer Service, that this IS NOT the car company you want to give your money.....All they do is spend money on their cute advertising and NOT customer service........ JUST READ THE VW SECTION OF WEBSITE: www.bitchaboutit.com YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!!!!!!!!!!! From EComplaints
