i found it quite interesting and yet a bit scary to find out that i am in the same boat as u. warrenty ran out 10,000 miles ago, and for me that's about 2 months. i guess from reading now, the next thing that i'm waiting for it her to catch on fire. i've had my cd player break, all of my tail lights burn out at the same time, both my front windows fall into my doors, my driver window goes up when it's supposed to go down, my mass air flow sensor go out, my sun roof break, and oh let's see what else,,,, oh my head light burn out. it's a lot of fun huh? i think i've probably easily put about 3 grand into my car and she's 3 yrs old. not to mention, my dealership will not return my phone calls, and i can't get a straight answer from VW of America. i'm looking possibly into a law suit with VW, if my dealership will not help me out, i.e. pay to fix my car completely or replace it. please e mail me if you would like to help out in getting VW to right their wrongs and take responsibility for the lemons that they're sending out.

Driver's wanted huh? well this is one person who will never buy a VW again unless this stuff is taken care of. There have to be more people out there that are sick and tired of the way VW is run as a company and the product they're turning out.
